The Theme of this year’s conference is “BUILDING NETWORKS THROUGH ECONOMICS LITERACY FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES”. The conference is expected to bring together Economics Educators all over the world. The Keynote Presenter will be Prof. E. O. S. Iyamu, Dean Faculty of Education, University of Benin, Nigeria

Panel Presentations

This year’s conference will provide an opportunity for a panel presentation of your papers. Presenters are expected to come with 10 -20 copies of their papers to share during their presentations. Only discussed papers will be sent to reviewers.  Accepted papers will be published in IAFEE Journals. If you will like to use ICT facilities in your presentation, kindly contact us on time.  

Special Presentations:

Opportunity will be given to Presenters who want to present their papers at general sessions to do so. Such presenters will book on time for proper arrangements to be made.

Virtual and Poster Presentations 

All registered participants who due to one reason or the other will not attend the conference in person will have the opportunity to present their papers online through Skype. During registration kindly indicate your mode of presentation. If you can’t attend the conference in person but want to share your research findings with our international community, join as a virtual presenter. Further details will be provided for such presenters. The conference will be live streamed at the association home page. Also, there will be an opportunity for a poster presentation.

Workshop

This year’s workshop will focus on enhancing teachers classroom practices through innovative teaching techniques.

Introduction

The popular saying that “no nation can develop above the level of its education” has become a reoccurring statement in many nation’s school curriculum. But the way and manner in which teachers’ implement the school curriculum in their classrooms to ensure proper synergy among different developmental elements such as social, technological, political and economic factors have been a major challenge. This conference theme was conceived in order to raise researches that will show how economic literacy can build networks among social, environmental, political and technological systems to ensure sustainable development. We are therefore interested in understanding why and how Economics literacy can be explored towards the achievement of sustainable development especially in developing countries and also how the 21st century  teaching/learning strategies can be devised to enrich the learners for sustainable development.

Interested scholars should submit an abstract of not more than 250 words to iafee.portharcourt@gmail.com not later than 15th August 2019 along with the evidence of conference registration. All abstracts must be written in Times New Romans and font 12.
